For the purposes of data protection laws, The Mind Transformer is the “data controller” of your personal data.

2) Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy & Website Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

3) Personal data we collect

A) Information collected automatically (“Device Information”)

When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect information about your device, including:

  • browser type and version

  • IP address

  • time zone

  • cookie identifiers and certain cookie data

  • pages or products you view

  • referring websites / search terms

  • how you interact with the Site

You can visit the website without telling us who you are or revealing any information, by which someone could identify you as a specific, identifiable individual. If, however, you wish to use some of the website’s features, or you wish to receive our newsletter or provide other details by filling a form, you may provide personal data to us, such as your email, first name, last name, city of residence, organization, telephone number. You can choose not to provide us with your personal data, but then you may not be able to take advantage of some of the website’s features. For example, you won’t be able to receive our Newsletter or contact us directly from the website. Users who are uncertain about what information is mandatory are welcome to contact us via support@themind-transformer.com.B) Information you provide to us.

B) Information you provide to us

When you use certain Site features (for example, purchasing, registering, contacting us, subscribing), you may provide personal data such as:

  • name and surname

  • email address

  • telephone number

  • city/country of residence

  • billing address

  • order details and communications

  • payment-related information (see Section 6 on payments)

If you choose not to provide certain data, you may not be able to access some features (for example, newsletters or direct contact forms). If you’re unsure what’s required, email support@themind-transformer.com

4) Why we process your personal data (purposes)

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • to operate and maintain the Site

  • to fulfil contracts (for example, processing orders, providing digital products, managing accounts)

  • to deliver purchased content (including immediate audio/digital downloads)

  • to provide customer support and handle queries and complaints

  • to detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents

  • to understand Site usage and improve content and services (analytics/statistics)

  • to comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

We aim to process only the minimum amount of data necessary for these purposes.

5) Legal bases (relevant for EEA/UK visitors)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract: processing is necessary to perform a contract with you (e.g., fulfilling an order).

  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve the Site and prevent abuse/fraud (balanced against your rights).

  • Consent: where you opt in (e.g., certain cookies or marketing emails, where required).

  • Legal obligation: where we must comply with law.

6) Payments, billing, and Stripe
  • Prices and currency are displayed before you pay. Unless stated otherwise, amounts shown on the Site are in EURO (EUR).

  • You agree to pay any applicable credit card surcharge where presented at checkout.

Payment processing

We do not store full financial card details on our platform. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe, which stores and processes your payment details under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Stripe’s independent data handling practices.

If you want to review Stripe’s privacy terms, refer to Stripe’s privacy policy here: https://stripe.com/ae/privacy

7) Payment plans (instalments) and access suspension

If you purchase a product using a payment plan:

  • you authorise us (via Stripe or our payment processor) to charge instalments as described at checkout and/or in the transaction terms;

  • if a scheduled payment fails or you default, we may suspend access to the course/product until your account is brought current.

    Recovery costs on default

Where permitted by law, you accept liability for reasonable recovery costs we incur due to breach of agreed repayment terms. These may include (where applicable) letter-before-action costs, debt collection fees, interest, and late payment compensation (for example, a fixed compensation amount per invoice).

8) Refunds, returns, cancellations (general)

We handle refunds, returns, and cancellations case by case, with the aim that you are happy with your purchase. If there’s an issue, contact: support@themind-transformer.com.

Important note (because reality exists): Some digital products, immediate downloads, or accessed course materials may be non-refundable depending on what was delivered and applicable consumer laws. We’ll assess fairly and legally.

9) Live events cancellation policy

If we cancel an event, all course fees will be returned in full.
We cannot reimburse related expenses such as travel or accommodation, and we recommend considering travel insurance for significant costs.

We also reserve the right to withdraw or cancel a course/event where necessary, and will communicate changes as reasonably as possible.

10) Chargebacks / payment disputes

You agree to contact us first at support@themind-transformer.com to try to resolve payment issues.

Any wording in your checkout terms that suggests “no disputes under any circumstance” should be interpreted only to the extent permitted by law. (In plain English: you still keep any non-waivable statutory rights—because courts enjoy ignoring overconfident sentences.)

11) Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device by your browser. We (and possibly service providers) may use cookies to:

  • enable sign-in and account features

  • estimate and report on audience size and traffic

  • conduct research to improve content and services

Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can usually change settings to refuse cookies or be notified when a cookie is set. If you reject cookies, some parts of the Site may not work properly.

Other websites linked from the Site may have different cookie practices. We are not responsible for their practices.

12) Sharing your data

We may share personal data with:

  • service providers who help us operate the Site and deliver services (e.g., payment processors, email delivery tools, hosting providers), acting under appropriate safeguards;

  • legal and regulatory authorities when required or permitted by law;

  • professional advisers (lawyers/accountants) where necessary for compliance and protection of rights.

We do not sell your personal data as a business model. (We’re coaches, not villains in a cyberpunk novel.)

13) International transfers

If you are a European resident, your information may be transferred outside Europe, including to Canada and the United States, depending on service providers used (for example, infrastructure and payment processing). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

14) Data security

We secure information on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment and use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. However, no method of transmission over the internet or wireless network is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15) Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including:

  • fulfilling orders and delivering services

  • maintaining business records

  • resolving disputes

  • complying with legal obligations

Retention periods vary depending on data type and legal requirements.

16) Your rights (EEA/UK residents)

If you are a European resident, you have rights in relation to your personal data, including:

  • the right to be informed

  • the right of access

  • the right to rectification

  • the right to erasure

  • the right to restrict processing

  • the right to data portability

  • the right to object

  • rights in relation to automated decision-making and profiling

To exercise these rights, contact: support@themind-transformer.com

17) Legal disclosure

We may disclose information if required or permitted by law (for example, to comply with a subpoena or lawful request), and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

18) Links to other websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Please review their privacy statements separately.
